Terms and Conditions

Health-

Please let us know if your pet has any pre-existing illnesses before, so we can see if we are able to cater for their needs. We have every right to not allow them to stay if they show ill health that we were not aware of.

In the event that your pet gets unwell during their stay, we will contact you and your preferred Veterinary Practice immediately. If your Veterinary Practice is not local, we can use our practice to treat your pet(s). You as the owner give us permission to take them to our Veterinary Practice, if we feel it’s more convenient for your unwell pet. We ask that you let your Veterinary Practice aware that they will be staying with us whilst you're away.

Any treatment that is needed will be done with your permission, you are to then sort out the cost with the Veterinary Practice. Please note we are not qualified in animal health so we do not take any liability of your pet becoming unwell or injured during their stay with us.

If we are unable to look after your unwell pet, they would have to be returned to you the owner, if this is not possible they would have to go to your emergency contact or stay at the vets.

A fee of £25 will be charged to take your pet(s) to the vets. If we have to administer medication to your unwell pet we will charge an extra £4 a day, this is to be paid up front via bank transfer.

Feeding-

We advise that you bring your own nuggets/ pellets, as changing their diet can cause stomach problems. Please make sure you bring enough for the duration of their stay.

We will provide good quality hay and fresh greens. Please let us know on arrival if your pet has any food sensitivities.

Vaccinations-

(rabbits only)

Your rabbit(s) must be vaccinated against Myxomatosis, RVHD1 and RVHD2 at least 2 weeks prior to coming to us. (Please note - the RVHD1 vaccine has to be done 2 weeks before the RVHD2 vaccine, unless they are getting the Nobivac PLUS vaccine). We do not board rabbits that have not been vaccinated.

You must provide a vaccination card/record to prove your rabbit(s) has been vaccinated. If you are unable to prove the vaccinations we will not board your rabbit(s).

We will try our best to accommodate for your pet with a new agreed date, but we cannot guarantee this. If we are unable to help we will contact your emergency contact, so please make sure your emergency contact is aware that this could happen.

Cancellations-

We would appreciate if you could give 30 days notice if you want to cancel so that we can re-book the space. You will not get your deposit back under any circumstance as it is non-refundable.

If you decide to pick up your pet before the booked date we will charge you for the remaining days that they should have been with us.

Death of Pet-

Hopefully this is something that wouldn't happen, but in the event that it does we will contact you and/or your emergency contact. We understand that this would be a distressing time for you, so respect for you and your pet will be our first priority. Unfortunately we won't be able to keep your pet with us due to lack of facilities, so we would contact your emergency contact or vets which will wait on your instruction.

If your pet is elderly and you think it is likely to happen, please let us know your requirements when booking.
